I’m Christina.

I’m always excited when I get an inquiry from couples who are from out of town. Or in this case, from a groom’s sister from out of town. Andrew’s sister Kayleigh found me on Instagram and reached out. Her brother Andrew was about to propose to his girlfriend (and Kayleigh’s best friend) Taylor. Soon after the proposal, he was going to surprise her with a trip to Charleston which included an engagement session!! (How sweet of him?!) Kayleigh was helping him find an available photographer, and I could not have been more excited when she reached out and I had a date available.

I met Andrew and Taylor on the historic streets downtown to start off their session. We made our way down Tradd St, and stopped at one of my favorite spots: the white house with blue moon shutters! After, we made our way to Hibernian Hall. The tall columns, checkered floor, and side of the pink Mills House make for the perfect backdrop. We were even graced with Charleston’s signature “photo-bombs” by the Mills House – one of the carriage horses! We wrapped up the first half of the session and made our way to Hampton Park!

Hampton park was showing off for Andrew and Taylor’s session. I mean look at that GLOW! The setting sun made its way through the Spanish Moss in such a dreamy fashion. The sunlight mixed with Taylor’s sweet smile and Andrew’s love for her, really was such a delight to photograph!!
