I blinked and somehow it’s been a whole YEAR since Courtney + Mason celebrated their marriage at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in De Pere, Wisconsin. I’ve known Courtney and Mason for almost ten years now, as we all went to high school together! So when Courtney reached out back in 2021 about having me photograph their engagement photos, and later on their wedding, I was absolutely thrilled! I absolutely LOVE a good excuse to visit home, and what’s better than a summertime wedding with old friends?!

It was a beautiful day in late August when Courtney + Mason celebrated their marriage. These high school sweethearts started the day off with a Catholic wedding ceremony at Courtney’s childhood church, and finished the night off with stunning sunsets after a day of on and off rain showers (followed by late night dancing with all their friends!)

What I love the most about these two is not only their love for each other, but the love for their friends and families. Courtney’s grandma was unable to make it to the ceremony, so we made a quick stop at the nursing home so she could see Courtney is her dress! The look on her face as she saw her beautiful granddaughter just melted my heart. If that didn’t make me tear up, the events from the reception sure did! A few minutes into their first dance, Courtney and Mason added in their son and they had their first dance as a family of three. It was the sweetest thing!! I loved every minute of their big day and am so blessed to have been a part of it. Happy anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Maus!
