Would you believe me if I told you only a few hours before Elizabeth and Erik got married, we had severe thunderstorms, record rainfall, and severe flooding?!

These two started off their wedding with lots of last minute changes, but it didn’t faze them one bit. Elizabeth had a glass half full attitude and looked at all the rain as extra wedding day luck. All she cared about was marrying her best friend. 

And that she did, with her good luck in full force. By mid-afternoon, the storms had passed, the tides went down, and the ground began to dry out. Elizabeth and Erik were able to said their “I do’s” on the front lawn of Boone Hall, just as originally planned. Their reception on the Cotton Dock was full of sweet speeches from friends + family, and one epic party on the dance floor!
